Our clients say it best!
"We had a great experience with the Best Christian Workplace Institute. The survey tool asked good questions and was easy to complete. The reports were very comprehensive and we received great coaching to help interpret the results and determine next steps. The staff was very courteous and provided great service to us."
Colby Burke
Director of Human Resources
Willow Creek Community Church
"Asking employees what they really think is risky because you may not like what you discover. Nevertheless, the number of ministries taking part in this survey over the last three years speaks well of Christian leaders who truly want a Christ-honouring workplace. The ten ministries being recognized this year are an inpsiration for the rest of us and in the spirit of Hebrews 10:24-25 are spurring us on to greater love and good deeds within our own workplaces."
John Pellowe

Canadian Council of Christian Charities
"The Best Christian Workplace survey is a helpful tool for us at the CCCU and
for our campuses. It is especially helpful in providing comparative data from
year to year."
Rich Gathro
Executive Vice President
Council for Christian Colleges and Universities
"Our experience with the BCWI survey has been a great aid in caring for our staff. Taking the survey again has been especially beneficial as it allows us to 'check-in' on how we are doing compared to the previous year. The survey allows us to hear what the staff suggests as to how we can improve. We are glad to have the opportunity to show our staff that they were heard and acknowledged. Although our mission is not directly related to our staff, if we live out our mission to our staff, they will then go on to live it out to the church body. Taking the survey helps us focus on areas to improve that will have the most impact.

"Phoenix Seminary's participation in and winning of a first place award in the
Best Christian Places to Work survey was of significant importance and benefit
to the Seminary and our staff. It was excellent for staff morale internally. It
made us all realize how blessed we are to be involved at Phoenix Seminary. We
received some excellent publicity in local media (newspaper and radio) based on
the news releases you sent out and the followup that we did. This served to
enhance our recruiting efforts, both of students and new staff. The survey
itself provided valuable insight into ways the seminary could improve employee
relations."
Mark Upton
Executive Vice President
Phoenix Seminary
Being chosen as one of the Best Christian Places to Work was tremendously
beneficial to Shepherds. However, we were also challenged by the feedback from
the survey. The Institute does a very thorough job and the report was
excellent. We clearly saw areas that needed improvement as well as areas where
we were doing well.

Vice-President of Program
Shepherds Ministries
"The Best Christian Workplaces Institute opened our eyes to what employees thought as they drove into work everyday. What we discovered was that improvement was needed- more improvement than we had previously imagined. The results helped us laser in on the key issues holding us back from our mission. As a result, today our staff is more engaged than ever before. This survey has been a gift to the congregation.

We found the Best Christian Places to Work survey and experience to be very
beneficial to our school. It was a great opportunity for us to examine our HR
policies and procedures from the employees’ perspective. The feedback we
received was thorough, well organized, and relevant to our programs. Well worth
the small amount of time and money we spent!

Participating in the Best Christian Places to Work survey provided wonderful
exposure for Whitworth College and what makes it attractive to employees as
well as students. Perhaps even more importantly, the project has spurred
ongoing conversations about how to further improve Whitworth as a working and
learning community. While the survey results were generally quite positive,
there was good, concrete feedback for how we could build on our strengths and
be even more effective in some areas.

Participation has increased my appreciation of the company that I work
for…Several companies that I am familiar with placed near our company in the
2003 standings. I realized that there are other Christian publishing companies
that share our sense of mission and workplace charisma. This was encouraging. I
also felt a sense of community with other Christian publishers through taking
part.

ACSI participated in the Best Christian Places to Work Survey this past year
and were pleased with the very high level of participation by our employees. We
used the survey results extensively to identify areas that we could and should
improve upon. We provided full disclosure of the results to our employees then
spent much time with the Executive Staff analyzing areas of concern. It is our
hope that the survey will be continued as we found both the process and the
opportunity to use the results extremely productive.

The structure of this year's report is the most informative and helpful yet. Thank you to the BCW team for thoughtfully investing in each aspect of the survey process. One aspect I've appreciated about this process is the sense of kinship I feel with believers in other schools and ministries throughout the country. The Lord is using the BCWI to advance His Kingdom on many fronts.

The information from the survey grows richer every year because our team members are invested; making Amor Ministries a place where people want to work and more importantly, want to stay. We refer to the results year-round, not just at survey time, with our teams so they can contribute to the plans and improvements that are made within the ministry.
Cynthia Strull Public Relations Coordinator Christian Heritage Academy
Our employees appreciate that we are willing to let them take the survey with total
anonymity so that they have unbiased input into process of creating a great place to work.
They also understand that we truly are concerned about creating a positive, biblically-based work environment that makes us “family”. We learn how to improve from what
our employees say in the survey, and they know that we make changes based on what
they tell us in the survey. This builds trust and transparency for us together as a team!
Jack Nietzel Director of Marketing and Communications Phoenix Seminary
We at the Scott Mission have now participated in the 4C's BCWI survey three years running. It is amazing the kind of honest feedback the staff gives. Equally amazing is the analysis of results provided by the BCWI, under the leadership of its President, Al Lopus. David J. Smith Executive Director The Scott Mission
