Your organization will be responsible for encouraging employees to fill out the
surveys.
The online employee survey takes about 15 minutes to complete.
The Organization Profile is a more comprehensive questionnaire regarding the
organization’s people practices that should take 30-60 minutes to
complete by the survey administrator or HR representative.
Most survey questions are based on a 1-5 scale (strongly disagree to strongly
agree); scores for the employee surveys
will be tabulated by taking an average of all responses received from the
organization.
Yes, you can add up to five additional questions to the survey. These questions will not have any comparison data
and will not be included in determining Best Christian Workplace
Certification/Recognition.
In terms of customized demographics, you can set the specific departments within your organization.
In the US, Best Christian Workplaces Institute (BCWI), a Christian human
resources research and consulting firm, will handle the administration of the
survey, and those who qualify for Best Christian Workplace Certification in the
Fall campaign are
honored at the
CLA Conference each year.
In Canada, BCWI is working in collaboration with the Canadian Council of
Christian Charities (CCCC) who announce the Recognized Best Christian
Workplaces in Canada each year.
Any organization with a publicly stated Christian mission and vision, based in
the United States or Canada, and with 10 or more employees is eligible to participate.
Every year we serve organizations in a variety of
fields—including churches, parachurch ministries, colleges, universities,
seminaries, K-12 schools, relief agencies, denominational headquarters,
educational institutions, communications companies and retailers. The survey
also includes “Christian businesses,” which are organizations that serve a
commercial need.
