Carrie's role at BCWI is as a Communication and Research Analyst. Her primary
focus is facilitating the communication of practices that build healthy
workplaces. As such she will use the analysis of survey results as the seed for
publications, presentations, web content and consulting advice. Specifically,
these responsibilities include development of Best Practice Guides and
production of Best Christian Workplace’s newsletter. Maintaining Best Christian
Workplace’s webpage and assisting in consulting work are also among her duties.
Her passion for Kingdom work is what drew her to BCWI; she is excited to be
helping other Christian organizations be witnesses to the world in their
excellence.
Carrie received a B.A. in Literature from Claremont McKenna College and an M.A. in
International Studies from the University of Washington. With both grandparents
and parents having served as missionaries, it is no surprise that Carrie has a
heart for missions. She served for two years in Tashkent, Uzbekistan and hopes
to return to the mission field some day. Her current ministry, in addition to
her work at BCWI, includes overseeing an outreach program for international
students and helping with the youth group at her church. Carrie is married to Michael, who is currently studying to get his Masters in Divinity.
