Mark Cutshall serves as a writer and creative consultant for Best Christian Workplaces International. With almost 40 years of professional experience as a corporate storyteller, he is adept at print and digital media, including web and video production. As founder and principal of the world’s smallest public relations agency, he has enjoyed serving a range of clients, including Microsoft, Mission Aviation Fellowship, Kenya Methodist University and Nazareth Baptist School in Israel.
Mark has co-authored 11 books, collaborating with Christian leaders involved in evangelism, humanitarian relief and non-profit fundraising. His work has appeared in The Seattle Times, as well as in publications for World Vision, Seattle Pacific University, and Focus on the Family.
A trained spiritual director, Mark delights companioning individuals in their deepening journey with Jesus. He currently serves on the board of CFDM Northwest—Christian Formation and Discernment Ministries.
With a B.A. in English from Whitworth University (Spokane, WA), he has taken graduate courses at both the University of Washington and Seattle Pacific Seminary.
Mark and his wife, Linda, are longtime members at Bethany Presbyterian Church in Seattle where he serves as a worship leader for both adults and children. Not quite empty nesters, they have two grown children, Ryan and Sarah, and make their home north of Seattle in Shoreline.
When he’s not trying to tame the lush, green foliage that threatens to engulf his property, Mark is probably working out in the gym, shopping for vinyl records, or reading theology. He hopes to one day convert western civilization from sending quick, hurried emails and rediscover the joy of the personal, hand-written thank-you note.
